Stephen Sugrue, 65, was found under the platform late Saturday afternoon, Dec. 29, according to Metro-North officials.

The cause of death is pending results the Medical Examiner's Office.

MTA police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

Sugrue's death was the second death of a New Canaan resident near the tracks. John Hickey, 50, was killed on Dec. 13, 2018, by a train between the Darien and Noroton Heights stations.
